Chiroptera
Pronunciation: kīˈräptərə, meaning Bat
I like a bit of an avant-garde style~
This very striking shawl when laid flat truly reminds one of a bat. Hence the name…

The wrap is worked flat from corner to corner. The very last lace section can be used as a built-in closure. Simply feed the skinny opposite end through any of the lace openings, literally. A fast and truly fun knit!
**This is the second one I knit!**
Measurements: Soft blocked 55” in length and 26” at its widest point.
NOTE: The shawl can easily made bigger by repeating Sections 4 and 8 of the pattern. Of course stitch numbers will change, plus you will need more yarn.
