This new shawl will definitely put a smile on anyones face.
It's a real attention getter, all in good fun and may even start a conversation....
The "All smiles" shawl, wear it right side up showing off the smiles or for a more subdued look, turn it around to the wrong/purl side. I think when worn wrong side out it looks quite elegant, what do you think?
Knitted mostly in stockinette stitch with a garter stitch border around the bottom edge. The contrasting color creates stripes and the smiles. You carry the second color yarn in the back to float, therefore manage the back side, so it is good enough to be worn front and back which you'll see in some of the photos.
This crescent shape is knitted top down with two colors and a stranded knitting method. The pattern is fully written, has a how to video link on floating the yarn in the back and also offers a chart for those fun smiley faces.
The blocked size measures 75" all along the bottom edge and 17.5" in middle height.
