The body of the Vertigo sweater is knitted sideways and flat, the sleeve stitches are picked up and knitted in the round. The vertical stripes create a very flattering look. A neckline boatneck style, gets knitted with two strands of the MC held together for maximum support.
The drop sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round after the sides and shoulders get seamed. It’s all just simple knits and purls. Lots of color changes too, its a fun and also easy project.
Smaller sizes have fewer stripes, in the larger sizes you have added stripes added.

For bust sizes 34/36/38/40/42/44/46/48/50/52” with a positive ease between 10” to 16” worked right into the pattern which is fully written, offers a schematic, a measuring chart and a photo tutorial for finishing.

NOTE: If you downloaded the pattern before 4:25 PM on May 29th, parts 4 and 5 have been switched around, reflected in the newly published pattern.
