The "Sunil" kerchief.
I love kerchiefs, don't you? They grow quickly, fit perfectly in your bag for when you need them and are a comfortable smaller size.
This one is an intriguing shape, kind of a triangle though with a rounded top edge embellished/finished with a contrasting color/yarn. It knits up from the bottom tip to the top edge. The yarn used here does all the color changes for you automatically.
A pretty lace pattern row runs up the sides and the middle eyelet increases makes the kerchief grow from the middle out as well as from both sides.
The Lightly skeins are wonderfully colorful with 7 changes in colors and yarns/textures and the mini skein of our Mercerized cottons are used to the finishing touch, the I-cord bind off.
The pattern is fully written out and also offers a chart for the lace. A how to video link is included for the I-cord bind off method.
The blocked size measures 51" across the top and it is 19" deep.
In case you are wondering what the top is I am wearing under the kerchief, it's called WOOT.
