The Pumpkins in a row hat features an adorable pumpkin pattern evenly spaced around the hat just above the ribbed edge. The hat is worked from the brim up. The perfect accessory for going trick or treating....

Easy stranded knitting in the round done with three contrasting colors.  The crown features evenly spaced spiral decreases.

If you prefer, you can switch around the colors for the body and pumpkin row if you like. The Pumpkin stem is knitted in green, the knit kit includes a mini skein for it.

The pattern is fully written, charted and offers a how to catch the floats in the back video link.

For sizes 19.5” and 22.5” in circumference.

The knit kits include

  • Taut, a sport weight yarn in a washable blend of 50/50 cotton/acrylic. 148 yards/50grams a skein. 1 skein each in C1 and C2 and a mini skein of 10 yards for the green pumpkin stem per kit, enough for either size.
  • The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
  • All packaged in a convenient project bag.

Notions needed

  • US size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle 16" in length
  • Double pointed needle size 3 (3.25 mm) needles
  • Stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge:  24 sts and 32 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied:  Knitted in the round, stranded knitting, catching floats, ribbing, decreasing the crown, weaving in ends and blocking.
