The Fonte cowl is knitted both in the round and flat. A staggered cable stitch pattern is done without cable needle and I for one love that fact. The bottom edge gets knitted flat and also gets a simple, very stylish crocheted Chenille touch. You can flip that part over and create a cute collar, wear it up or down. For a cowl, this one gives you styling options!
The pattern is written and a chart is included for the cable pattern.
The unblocked cowl measures 24” in circumference and 9.5” in height.
The knit kits included
- A skein of Mystery, C1- with 153 yards/75 grams, a blend of two yarns wound together in a cotton/acrylic in a DK weight. So the skeins have a bit of color play.
- C2- A mini skein of Chenille in a bulky weight, 4 yards for the accent around the neckline.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 8 (11 mm) circular needle, 20” (51 cm) in length.

Crochet hook size I (5.5 mm) for pink accent.

-
Crochet hook for colorful detail around the bottom edge.
Gauge: 15 sts and 21 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
