Velia is a crescent shaped shawl, knitted and purled from the bottom on up and it increases steadily to the very end.
Knitted with two yarns. One of our exclusive Yarnology skeins, which adds color and texture changes all in one skein, plus a soft skein in a single color used to create that big color pop in the middle of the shawl done with a simple, staggered ribbed pattern and an eyelet pattern adds a bit of romantic charm.
The measurements are 68" in overall length and 18" in middle height. The pattern is fully written.

Notions needed
- US size 8 (5 mm) circular needle 26" (91 mm) in length.
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 14 sts and 26 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting, purling, increasing, changing colors, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional. The sample shown was not blocked.
