It's knitted in the round and all in one piece from the bottom lace up to the turtle neck. Talking about the turtle neck, it will keep your neck warm beautifully in a ribbed stitch pattern and a pronounced I-cord bind off edge. Fold the neck down and reveal a stitch pattern change~ Got to love a surprise, right?
The unblocked measurements are: Turtle neck circumference 19", height 9". The bottom lace section is 60" around and 8" tall. The middle plain knit section adds 3" for a total height of 19.5".
The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart for your knitting pleasure.
The knit kits include
- C1- Two Soft skeins, 350 yards each in a stretchy polyamide/elastan, a sport weight yarn. It stretches a bit for comfortable movement. These skeins are held double throughout the bottom lace section.
- C2- One Mushy skein, 120 yards in a blend of an antibacterial dralon and a polyamide and elastan in a worsted weight used for the turtle neck.

Notions needed
- US size 7 (4.5 mm) two circular needles, 16" (42 cm) and 36" (82 cm) in lengths.
- 2 Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing
Gauge: 12 sts and 20 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch with C1 yarn held double.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, lace knitting, color changes, decreasing, I-cord bind off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, the sample as shown was not blocked.
