The pattern is written and has a photo tutorial on how to create the fabulously chic tassels. The shawl is an enjoyable, fast and easy knit. It makes the perfect first lace project but will keep experienced knitters happy as well.

Knit Kits include

A Yarnology skein with 7 color, texture and weight changes
An extra contrasting mini skein or finishing the tassels
The written with a photo tutorial for making the special tassels, plus the printed and emailed pattern
All packaged in a convenient white organza project bag

Notions needed

US size 17 (12 mm) circular needle 32" (80 cm) in length
Tassel maker or a 9" piece of card board or gauge tool....

Creative but orders take a long time to come

Mistaken that prior order was responded to with a let me see I never heard back in spite of 3 to 4 queries. Orders are shipped 7 to 10 days after being placed and then longer for the actual shipping so expect your orders to take at least two weeks to come. I think I’m pretty much done with the whole scenario

My apologies for taking longer on some orders to ship but you see I literally run a one woman business that means I do it all from designing, to website upkeep, newsletter, social media, shipping, especially creating knit kits with hand wound yarns, which I can see is what you were drawn to in your last two orders. Doing my best, offering frequent price breaks as you know and I give lots of raffle prices away.
A few bad days of not feeling well, a doctor visit and several days of testing slowed down literally everything. Now I am not looking for sympathy, I am just explaining how every day life can be for one person operating a business.

Difficult

The yarn and the large needles are too difficult to work with . Gave up, will use the yarn for a different project.

I am so sorry you are having a hard time with this project. Big needles and textured fine yarns are not for everyone but I see you knitted the Ferns in the wind shawl at some point, which was actually knitted with a bigger needle. Perhaps you could try the Tikki again, sometimes you just got to give it another go. Let me know if I can be of any help to you.

Fun quick project; different colors from picture

I really enjoyed doing this project, and it only takes a few hours to complete. The only problem is that the colors were quite different than the picture of the skein in this colorway. Having said that, the colors in the skein I did receive are pretty, too.

I absolutely love this yarn and pattern. I'm currently knitting it up and it will be stunning.
