A knitted tank to go literally over anything....
Wear your Tankful over a fitted or loose hanging tee, a blouse, a sweater, even over a pretty dress. This tank is knitted with two distinct yarns to create the incredible textures and color plays. The fit is loose, it drapes beautifully, it moves with you whatever you are doing. So fun and also wonderfully casual.
Knit loosely, don't be tight so if you have to go up a needle size to get the right size.
The pattern is entirely written for bust sizes 34/36/38, 40/42/44, 46/48/50. The one size knit kit is enough for all sizes. With a length of 18/19/20", a bottom width of 50/54/61" and a shoulder strap of 1/1.5/2", all with plenty of positive ease worked into each size ranging from 9" to 16" respectively.
The knit kits include
- Three Stipple skeins for all sizes, 120 yards each in a fingering weight. Two yarns wound together, a straight linen and a thick and thin cotton blend.
- One skein for all sizes of our Lustrous yarn, 435 yards in a fingering weight with colored textured nubs adding that bit of extra flair to all you create.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle 36" (81 cm) in length
- Two stitch markers
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing
Gauge: 11 sts and 25 rows in 4" of garter stitch. Remember loose knitting gets the fitting....
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round and flat, decreasing, weaving in ends and connecting-seaming the shoulder straps.
