Knitted with our Lightly and Organic cotton skeins and together they make an incredibly lightweight airy and definitely colorful shrug.
Created in two equal knitted rectangular pieces with a bit of ribbing, relaxing garter stitches and an easy lace pattern around the bottom edge. There are a couple of pleats arranged on either side of the neckline and on both, front and back during the finishing stage. An easy mattress stitch connects the sleeves and the shoulders.
The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart. The finishing is both explained in writing as well as in photos.
Each blocked rectangle measures 53" in length and 11" in height, before creating the pleats.

- Two Lightly skeins, 238 yards each in lace and fingering weights. The skeins are perfectly arranged to let you start the project with the heavier end. There are seven color, weight and texture changes.
- One skein of Organic cotton for the bottom lace and seaming. 125 yards in a DK weight.

- 8 lockable stitch markers used during the finishing process.

Gauge: 12 sts 26 and rows in 4" of garter stitch
Techniques: Knitting and purling, slipping stitches, knitting stitches together, color changes, lace knitting, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends, seaming sleeves and shoulders, blocking for best results.
