Knitted from the top down, creating a loose fitting neckline (turtleneck inspired, but more comfy) with a striking cable pattern, which actually gets repeated in the bottom hems, front and back. Not only is there a distinct increase line over both upper sides and yes, side slits making the cowlcho feel extremely comfortable for any size knitted.
The yarn makes this project work up quickly, it is also washable in a super soft blend of bamboo and acrylic.
The pattern is fully written and the cable pattern is charted as well. For sizes ranging from 34/36", 38/40/42/44/46/48/50/52/54/56".

Notions
- US size 10 (6 mm) interchangeable circular needles, one 16" (40 cm) and one 32" (81 cm) in lengths.
- Stitch marker to mark the beginning of rounds.
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 13 sts and 17 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, cable knitting, increasing, separating to knit flat to create the side slits, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, the sample shown here was not blocked.
