Quick and easy to knit are both, the hat and matching fingerless mittens in a flashy color shown here which make quite the splash. The hat is knitted in the round, the mitts are knitted flat. The patterns are both written and there is a schematic for the mitts. The hats measurements are 20"/21.3” around and 8.25"/9,25” in height. You can also add a cute faux fur pom. :) The mittens measure 8"/9” around and 6.25"/7” in length.

Notions needed
- US size 8 (5 mm) circular needle for both projects 16" (42 cm) in length.
- Stitch marker for the hat.
- Tapestry needle for finishing both.
Gauge: 12 sts and 9 rows in 4" worked in rib pattern.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round and flat, increasing, cinching the crown of hat together, binding off the mitts, weaving in ends.
