The new Reeves shawl is a pretty quick knit.
The bottom edge shows off a gorgeous lace border, the body of the shawl is done in relaxing stockinette stitch and a contrasting top edge which is knitted with a rich, thick worsted weight yarn to stand out and add a striking finish, which will lend a great look when you style your shawl. The knit kits come in 25 exciting color combinations
The blocked shawl measures 48" in length and 12.5" in height. The pattern is fully written and offers a lace chart as well.
The knit kits include
- A skein of Pebbles with 160 yards in a DK weight. Each skein is wound to order with 3 strands of yarn, two thick and thin cottons and a straight, smooth cotton and together they create a truly fun yarn.
- A mini skein with 15 yards of a very cool, new Recycled yarn in a worsted weight.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 17 (12.75 mm) circular needle 36" (90 cm) in length.
- Stitch markers.
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 7 sts and 12 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling, lace knitting, yarn change, lace bind off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.
