Purl Mobile cowl pattern

I designed this cowl for “Purl”, a mobile yarn shop run by JuJu Knits in the Fort Worth area. Come see Julie and I for a trunk show at the yarn camper on May 11th!

A sweet cowl knitted in the round, top down with a repeating lace pattern that is easily remembered. It ends with a knit section that is topped off by a pretty Picot edge. 
Wear it right side up or down or inside out. Both sides look very pleasing. The color and yarn weight changes certainly add to this cowls personality.

Yarn 
One Layers yarn cake by Yarnz2go in color way “Cupcake” as shown here.

Or, use your stash! 
10 portions and 20 yards each in fingering, sport, DK and worsted weights and varying colors. 200 yards in total.

Notions 
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 16” in length 
1 Stitch marker 
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge 
8 sts and 12 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch
