A Picot cast on starts this pretty off. You then roll into simple knitting, purling, you will slip some stitches, at times as many as three in one shot and there are more stitch patterns to enjoy. You'll love knitting this one, I am pretty sure, as it keeps you very happily occupied throughout without being difficult.

The lightly blocked size is 20" in circumference, with the top and bottom edge being stretchy and 12.5" in height. There is plenty of yarn left to add more length and I describe in the pattern where you could add....
The knit kits include
- 2 skeins of Taut, a new sport weight yarn in a 50/50 cotton/acrylic blend. It has great stitch definition. 148 yards, 50 grams per skein.

Notions needed
- US size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 16" (41 cm) in length.
- 1 Stitch marker to mark beginning of round.
- Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 10 sts and 15 rows in 2" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Picot cast on, knitting and purling in the round, slipping stitches, switching to different patterns, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking.
