You'll enjoy knitting the all new "Nuss" hat/beanie and nuss means nut in German in case you didn't know. In this case I do think the nut looks like an acorn and I love seeing them right now almost every day on my morning walks.
Knitted in the round from the bottom up in a just added chunky cotton yarn called Chunks. You change color just past the oversized brim line, where the body gets knitted straight for a while before the decreases and the final and most important detail, you get to create a fun acorn inspired tassel to match the brim portion.
It is a super quick knit and I think it should be on your list for most popular gift idea this season~
The pattern is fully written and photos guide you through the acorn tassel making.
The sample measures 21" in circumference and 9" in length before the tassel which measures 4" in length. You have enough yarn in the kit to create a larger size and the instructions will give you several cast on numbers.
