Beautiful in its simplicity~
If you like a good size, a bit bigger shawl, you will definitely appreciate the new Boone shawl. This triangular shape gets knitted from the top down, starting with a garter stitch cast on it grows constantly to the loose bind off. It's a bold look and a real head turner.
Two yarns create a spirited colorful play here with one mostly single color on the very top and again at the bottom edge. The middle stripes are created with a single specialty skein with 7 changes in colors, textures and weights, so there is very little end weaving in to do. Love that, right?
The feel is just wonderful with a super soft bamboo yarn around your neck and the bottom edge. You work the bottom edge with two needle sizes to add extra give and take, texture and interest.
The blocked size across the top edge is 75" long, the middle height 27" and along the bottom edge it measures 91".
The pattern is fully written.
