Myra, a shawl with personality, showing off a beautiful knitted shell lace pattern and simple garter stitches. Adorned with tassels that get attached with coconut shell buttons.
Rectangular in shape knitted with two distinct yarns gives this piece a lot of charm as well as some drama.

The blocked shawl measures 60” including the tassels and 17” in width.

Main Color: 2 skeins of Bambolino, a sport weight yarn in a linen, bamboo and cotton blend.

Gauge
One shell measures 3.5” at its widest point and 2 3/16” in height.
Garter stitch: 6 sts and 14 rows in 2” of Garter stitch.

Techniques used: Knitting, increasing, decreasing, slipping stitches, knitting multiple stitches together, stretchy bind off and creating tassels.
