The new Mizzi shawl is the perfect cozy shawl to throw on all year round...
Even in the summer when in air conditioned rooms, this shawl will make you feel comfy cozy and colorful. Each yarn cake shows off little flecks of colors and fibers, so it has a lot of life to it~
The shawl is knitted sideways, tip to tip. It's starting of with a growing garter stitch section, moving on to a cute and happy checkered stranded middle section and finally a striped decreasing striped tip.
The shawl measures 67" in length, 18" in middle height, unblocked.
The pattern is fully written, shows you both sides of the middle stranded section in photos.
Knit kits include
- Spots yarn cakes in a bulky weight, they all are soft and fluffy in a blend of 85% Acrylic/14% Rayon from Bamboo and 1% Nylon. It's washable, easy to take care of. Each cake holds 97 yards/100 grams. Two skeins in C1 shown here in Golden Delicious and one skein in C2 shown here in Vintage Claret.

Notions
- US size 17 (12 mm) circular needle 32" (80 cm) in length.
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 8 sts and 11 rows in 4" of garter stitch, 9 sts and 9 rows in 4" in the stranded portion done in stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling flat, increasing, color changes, stranded knitting, decreasing, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional the sample shawl was not blocked.
