The new Lutz shawl is knitted with our Delicate skeins, which creates a beautiful fabric. They were just added to the shop again after a long absence. These skeins produce dramatic colors great drape in whatever you create with them.
The rectangular shawl starts out being knitted from bottom up with a lovely and easy to kit lace pattern, followed by relaxing stockinette stitches and a garter edge with an added second yarn and contrasting color finishes up the project. I am liking the contrasting edge along the sides so much, as they add another wonderful touch being worked first with fewer stitches that than get doubled and bound off in one swoop. Very easy, very cool.
The pattern is fully written and includes a chart for the lace pattern.
The blocked shawl measures 55" in length and 16.5" in height.
