Cast on the cute Jordi hat with a pom and matching cozy mitten set. You can even change the pom color, if you like.....
The hat is knitted in the round with simple knit and purl stitches, creating textured horizontal blocks all around and twisted rib edge. The mittens knitted in the round from the wrist down to the finger tips and the have a build in thumb. In case you are wondering about the pretty sweater I am wearing, it's called Idris.
Both patterns patterns are fully written. The hat sizes are 20"/22" in brim circumference and 9"/10" in height. The mittens come in two sizes as well, medium and large.
Knit kit includes
- Two single Sport yarn cakes to knit the hat and mittens. Each cake holds 97 yards/100 grams in a soft washable 80% Acrylic/20% Rayon from Bamboo in a #5 bulky weight with colorful specks worked in, lending a bit of fun and extra color.

Notions needed
- Hat: US size 10 (6 mm) circular needle 16" (42 cm) in length.
- Mittens: US size 5 (3.5 mm) double sided needles.
- One stitch marker to mark beginning of rounds.
- Tapestry needle for finishing and adding button to secure the pom with.
Gauge
- Cowl: 11 sts and 20 rows in pattern stitch.
- Mittens: 16 sts and 23 rows in stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, knitting through back loop, decreasing, cinching last stitches with tapestry needle, attaching button to secure pom to, weaving in ends.
