This is such a great set to knit, the new In Sync hat and cowl~
Mix things up by showing off different textures when you wear them inside out - or outside, in to create a different look each time you wear them.
A rib stitch pattern gets mixed up to change the look in both pieces and creates easy going easy on the eyes textures. The yarn used here is extremely soft, you hold colors together here to create a "marled look". The kit has enough yardage for you to create both the cowl (one size) and hat (either size).
The hat measures: Small 12.5"/14.5" in height unfolded and 18.5"/21" in brim circumference. The pattern gives you the option to either creates a garter stitch look as shown here or you can knit every round for a stockinette look.
The cowl measures: Circumference at bottom edge 21", top edge 18.5" and 8.5" in height. (one size)
The knit kits include
- Two skeins of Soft skeins in two colors. 350 yards/50 grams a skein in a soft 95% Polyamide/5% Elastan, so the projects do have a little give. It's washable, so it is very easy to gift and take care of. The kit let's you knit both, the hat and cowl in either size.

Notions needed
- US size 7 (4.5 mm) and 10 (6 mm), both circular needles 16" (41 cm) in length.
- One stitch marker.
- Tapestry needle for finishing.
Gauge: 12 sts and 28 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch with two strands held together.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling, switching needle size, decreasing the crown and cinching up stitches then securing ends, binding off (cowl), weaving in ends on both. Blocking is optional, the samples shown were not blocked.
