You might have seen the recently published "Idris sweater", well I decided to knit a casual casual poncho and a hat with the same simple yet effective pattern stitch.
So here is the new "Idris poncho", another delightful quick and easy knit and it's created with the same super soft, washable yarn. Knitted from the top down in the round and flat, and ever growing with an added slit for even more comfort and ease. The bind off is done with two strands held together to create a more pronounced edge.
One size fits all: 18" in length, 84" around the bottom edge with a 21" neckline.

- Easy care DK cakes, a # 3 weight DK, 272 yards/100 grams per cake in the softest machine washable acrylic yarn. 2 cakes used.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- Two US size 10 (6 mm) circular needles, one 16" (42 cm) and another in 36" (91 cm) in lengths.
- A stitch marker to mark beginning of round.
- Tapestry needle for finishing.
Gauge: 10 sts and 18 rows in 4" of unblocked stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, increasing, turning work to knit flat in order to create a slit in the bottom edge. Binding off with two strands of yarn held together to create a pronounced edge. My sample shown here was left unblocked for a more organic look~
