If you love bulky shawls and the comfort they offer, this is the project for you! The Happily me is worked top down with a garter stitch tab cast on and an attractive yet simple lacy top border that makes the shawl grow. The bottom edge offers a very pleasing and easy to achieve stitch pattern and the tassel just adds a bit of extra fun! All in all a wonderful knit!
Total span is 60”, total height is 20.5”.
The shawl could be made bigger by adding more repeats in part 1. Of course more yarn will be needed.
Yarn used: Bulky, a 100% cotton yarn in a bulky weight.
77 yards a skein.
C1 Sand 1 skein.
C2 Mushroom 3 skeins.
Alternatively: Use a bulky yarn, C1 76 yards, C2 229 yards
Notions: US size 15 (10 mm) circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length.
