Garron Shawl
An asymmetrical triangular shawl that is bound to become one of your favorites. A simple cable motif that is truly enjoyable to knit runs diagonally and intermittently throughout, adding a wonderful showy accent. Options to add a tassel or a braided fringe are included in the instructions.
I created this shawl a few years ago with a different yarn, so the pattern mentions two strands of yarn held together, well with these "Volumizing" skeins you just knit with a single strand.
The pattern is entirely written and also offers a chart. The shawl was test knitted and tech edited.
The size unblocked measures 69” long and at its deepest 35”.
Knit kits include
- A giant skein of Voluming, a whopping 11" long and holds 300 yards/200 grams in an aran weight. A wonderfully soft and luxurious Acrylic. Yup, it's washable at 30 degrees in the gentle cycle. I would put it into a laundry bag or pillow case though to be safe.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 19 (15 cm) circular needle 29" (74 cm) in length.
