The new Galen sweater
The colorful self striping Lustrous yarn starts the knit off with a sweet rolled neckline. The stripes grow the top down to the armhole area, where you then place the sleeve portions on hold and continue with our soft Bamboo+ yarn to knit the main body. One more colorful striped accent just above the checkered bottom edge creates the loose fitting body and the sleeves get a little longer here knitted with the single color yarn right down to the ribbed edge.
If you want longer sleeves, you may need more C2 yarn for sizes ranging from 48 to 52", see the link below. The knitting is easy and it's done all in one piece, there is no shaping, just rows of simple eyelets in the upper body.
The pattern is fully written for sizes ranging from 34" to 54" with varying amounts of positive ease between 6" and 10" worked in.
