The Foliage cowl makes such a great accessory.
What an awesome knit this is and cowls are perfect accessories for the fall. A single Allero skein created this knitted in the round, wonderfully textural cowl. The gorgeous stitch pattern reminds one of leaves, hence the name.
The pattern is fully written, has a how to video link and also offers a chart for your knitting pleasure.
The height of the cowl unblocked measures 8" in height and 23" in diameter.
The knit kits include
- A single skein of Allero, a light worsted weight in a 50/50 acrylic/cotton yarn with 154 yards/50 grams per skein.
- The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle 20" (51 cm) in length
- 5 stitch markers
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, lace knitting, ribbing, binding off, weaving ends. I left my cowl unblocked, so the textures show through a bit more.
Enjoy the knit, I sure have.
