It will definitely keep you warm knitted with the two yarn cakes as shown. It's a top down knit which grows all the way down to the pretty lace portion which is done with our new Spots yarn cakes and they are adding great textures and a colorful pop to your shawl.

The crescent shape measures 90" along the bottom edge and 15" in height, told you its big. The pattern is fully written and also has a chart for the lace pattern in the bottom edge.

The Knit Kits include

  • A single Easy care DK cake, 272 yards/100 grams in a DK weight single color. Machine washable.
  • Two of our new Spots yarn cakes with colorful specks of fibers worked right in, creating a wonderfully textured look. 85% Acrylic, 14% Rayon from Bamboo, 1% Nylon, the softest fluffiest. 3.5oz / 100g, 97yds / 89 meters in a  #5 Bulky weight. Machine wash cold. Lay Flat to Dry. 
  • The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
  • All packaged in a convenient project bag.

Notions needed

  • US size 10 (6 mm) circular needle 40" (91 cm) in length.
  • Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge:  11 sts and 24 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch, counting 12 ridges.

Techniques applied:  Knitting and purling, increasing, color changes, lace knitting, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional.
