The all new Chrysanthemum poncho feels delightfully soft with a loose fit. It's extremely comfortable to wear all year round with a generous neckline opening and an extremely generously sized body. In summer wear a tank under it, in winter a long sleeve tee, blouse or sweater. It's wonderfully versatile all year round.
It is knitted from the top down like a raglan sweater with the main attraction of course being that gorgeous Chrysanthemum flower border created with a two color stranded technique.
The pattern is fully written, includes a chart for the stranded motif and a video link on how to carry the yarn in the back.
The blocked poncho measures 24" around the neckline, 18.5" in length, 87" around the bottom edge.

Notions
- US size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles. One 16" (41 cm) in length for the neckline and one 36" (91 cm) in length for the body.
- 13 Stitch markers and one stand out beginning of round marker.
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting in the round, increasing, color changes, stranded knitting, binding off with two colors held together, weaving in ends and blocking.
