You knit two pieces here which will be finished with two short shoulder seams. The very top edges are created with a cool slip stitch pattern adding interest to the stockinette body with ribbed sides concealing the worked in buttonholes. The colorful buttons will be fully functional, as you can close up the sides partially or all the way down, making this top wonderfully playful~
The yarn used here is intriguing as it is a recycled one in a blend of cotton, acrylic and poly. This is my third project knitted with it, so you can tell I really do like how it wears and it washes well.....
The pattern is fully written for bust sizes ranging from 34" to 56".

- Our very special Recycle skeins with 253 yards/100 grams each in a DK weight in a recycled 50% Acrylic, 30% Cotton, 20% Polyester blend. 2 skeins needed in either color, for a total of 4 skeins used for all sizes.

Notions needed
- US size 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle, 36" (91 cm) in length.
- Tapestry needle for finishing.
Gauge: 13 sts and 21 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitting, purling, slipping stitches, buttonholes, seaming, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, my sample was not blocked.
