The Atypical sweater is definitely not knitted like most tops but it is very easy to create. The end result is a very chic top. The two yarns being used here, one being a fingering weight linen with viscose and the other an organic cotton in a DK weight create a semi transparent look and the effect is just beautiful. All is done with just simple knit and purl stitches.
Vertical lines ensure a flattering look in this sideways knitted top. The front, back and sleeves get worked separately, with one side of the body being elongated therefore creating a bit of a dip, for an asymmetrical look. A simple crochet stitch adds the finishing touch and accentuates the neckline, sleeves and bottom border of your top.
For bust sizes: 34/36", 38/40/42/44", 46/48/50/52" with a positive ease of 1 to 1.5" worked into each size.
The pattern is fully written and has schematics. You can adjust the size, for instance if you like more room or more length, as well as the sleeve length. For instance if you don't like the cuffs or want a 3/4 length with or without cuffs, the pattern guides you.
