Vivace Shawl Pattern

Vivace, a comfy, cozy shawl with minimal lace knitting and an I-cord bind off (video included). A lovely cover up for any occasion. Vivace means lively or vivid in music. This shawl is pretty lively in my opinion~

Written instruction for intermediate knitter with a video link and lots of photos. 

Notions:

Serenity Silk Single by Zen Garden in a fingering weight. Total yardage needed 925.
Used here 1 skein or 375 yards in color "Tuxedo" a purple, blue (Color 2) and 550 yards in "Antique", a red (Color 1).

Needles in US sizes 6 (4mm) and 9 (5.5mm).

Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Glossary:

K knit.

P purl.

M1 make one stitch .

K2tog knit two stitches together (Decrease).

P2tog purl two stitches together (Decrease).

Kfb knit into front and back of stitch. (Increase).

Rep repeat.

Yo yarn over (increase).

SKP slip one stitch as if to knit, knit 1 stitch and slip the slipped stitch over knit stitch.
