Purl mobile cowl

Cowls, wonderful projects to knit and wear~

This one is knitted in the round with an easy to memorize lace pattern, adorned by a beautiful Picot edge in just one Layers cake.

Named after "Purl", a mobile knit shop in the Fort Worth area, this cowl mimics the the colors as well as the wheels in the open lace stitches. 

Included in knit kit:

• 1 Layers yarn cake holding 10 portions of 20 yards each in 200 yards in total in various textures, fibers and colors

• The printed pattern and a downloadable file send via email
• A white organza project bag

Notions needed:

• US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 16” in length 

• 1 Stitch marker

• Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge: 8 sts and 12 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch

NOTE on Gauge: I am a loose knitter, you may not be, so to get the cowl to the size needed, a gauge swatch is a must.

Pattern is written, has a lace chart and has been test knitted.
