Malia Vest, a KAL
Join the KAL, also known as a knit-a-long...
This knit kit is for the vest only. If you want to make the vest with the Kimono style sleeves, check this LINK.
The pattern/instruction however are for both, the vest and the cardigan with sleeves. So you can create a sleeveless or sleeved version for your self. What a gorgeous piece this is. The vest can be styled in about 25 different ways. No kidding!!! I love versatility, don't you?
Starting with a beautiful lace border on the bottom that is truly a joy to knit, after which you move on to a sea of Stockinette knitting, followed by yet another very textural simple ace border. So whether you wear it right side up or down, you have a lovely interest near your face. This project is definitely a head turner...
The pattern is written. It has a schematic and a lace chart for the bottom border.
