A new shawl to cast on. It is wonderfully colorful, it feels extremely soft, and it is a surprisingly easy knit. Relaxing knit and purl stitches, a simple slip stitch pattern and two stranded stitch patterns make this a great project for TV knitting or crafting with friends holding down a conversation. You'll love it~
It's a long rectangular shape, measuring 73" in length and 17" in height so you have lots of styling options here. You can really get wrapped up in this one~
The pattern is fully written and also offers charts for your knitting pleasure.
Knit kits include
- Auxanometer, a wonderfully soft hand dyed bamboo yarn, 400 yards/100 grams a skein in a fingering weight. The kits include two full skeins in colors called C1 and C4.
- A skein of our Organic cotton in a DK weight, called C2.
- Auxanometer, same as above in a mini skein, 16 yards each. Called C3.
- The Printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
- All packaged in a convenient project bag.
Notions needed
- US size 6 (4mm) circular needle 40" (102 cm) in length
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing
Gauge: 15 sts and 25 rows in 4" of stockinette stitch
Techniques applied: Knitting, purling, color changes, stranded knitting, slipping stitches, knitting with two strands held together, bind off, weave in ends and blocking.
