A dramatic cowl knitted in the round from the bottom up featuring all kinds of fabulous textures, thicknesses and colors.

Experience level:
Advanced Beginner.
Techniques: Knitting in the round and decreasing.
Gauge: Stockinette stitch with lace yarn 2.5 sts and 14 rows in 4”.

Yarn:
1 skein of “Layers”, an assortment of different fibers and colors in just the right proportions. Anything from lace-weight to aran weight all hand tied together. It’s important to have the lace yarn start and end the cowl.
“Layers” is wound cake of 200 yards and is available at “Yarnz2GO.com”.

Notions:
US size 13 (9mm) circular needle 24” in length.
6 total stitch markers. 2 in one color (side marker), 4 in second color (decrease marker).
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
