Easy breezy tunic, kit

Regular price $ 45.00

Got to love tunics....

Well, I really do love them and this one is literally an *easy breezy one* to knit.
It has a staggered eyelet pattern knitted from the bottom up and in the round. The middle part of the body is slightly decreased. The front and back upper part of the body/armhole section get split in half from the armholes on up to the neckline. Only the shoulders do get seamed or you could do a 3 needle bind off instead.
For sizes 34/36/38/40/42/44/46/48/50/52/54” in bust with a built in positive ease of about 8”.

The length is fully adjustable in parts 5 and 6 of instructions to either add or take a bit away.
The pattern is written and has photos to guide you.

Pattern was test knitted and I like to thank all the wonderfully TEST KNITTERS so much for their enthusiastic work and help!

Knit kits include:

  • 6/7/7/7/7/7/7/8/8/8/8 skeins of Organic cotton in a DK weight by Yarnz2go
  • The printed and emailed pattern
  • All in a convenient organza project bag

Notions needed

  • US size 8 (5 mm) circular needle 36" (91 cm) in length
  • A stitch marker
  • Darning needle for finishing
Gauge: 16 sts and 22 rows in 4" of Stockinette stitch, unblocked. Proper gauge is essential as I am a loose knitter and you may not be. Some test knitters went up by 2 needle sizes....

Happy knitting!

If you happen to like a bit more color, this is test knitter Audrey's Easy breezy tunic. She knitted hers with the colorful Five Wise Owls Pima Cotton also a DK weight.
