The Batani is stylish, loose and super comfy. Knitted in the round, it sports a bulky ribbed neckline, a steady increase that adds a bit of extra interest throughout. Rounding up the lower part are the extending mini flaps knitted in garter stitch with small side slits. Finish it up with a single crochet stitch unifying everything with a contrasting yarn to add to the look.
Yarn: Two Layers yarn cakes holding 200 yards each in varying textures, fibers and colors. Color ways shown here “Mellow” for the top and “Want” for the bottom. Mix it up or keep it all in one color, it's up to you. The yarn is wound especially for this project, so your poncho starts and ends with a bulky yarn.
